According to a February statistic, over 637,017 people are homeless in the United States. Majority of homeless people accounted for where found in emergency shelters, transitional housing programs, but 4 out of every 10 were unsheltered; therefore, nearly 254,8067 people live on the streets, in cars, abandoned buildings, or other places not intended for human habitation.
In Europe, nearly 3 million people are homeless.
In Australia, 100,000 people sleep on the street.
In Columbia, 9,654,722 people are homeless.
In France, 1 million people are homeless.
In the Philippines, 1,200,000 children live on the streets.
In total, an estimated 100 million people are homeless worldwide.
