I am thankful for my bed.
Living in America with two parents, three siblings, in a house, I consider myself very privileged, especially since I have all the things I could ever ask for, for example, my camera, a laptop, a television, a cell phone, and other items that are considered luxuries. I'm young and haven't seen much outside of Jersey, but I have witnessed a small portion of the world's poverty. To be honest, the worst the thing I have ever seen was a couple of homeless people living out on the street, sleeping on park benches, and roaming around aimlessly with no place to go asking for spare change. Thinking about those who I have seen and the homeless faces that are now not just statistics, but reality, I contemplate, how did I get so lucky to have all of the things that I have and how was I so lucky to be given such great opportunities in my life. There's not one thing I should be complaining about because compared to others, I am living in paradise.
