I am thankful for the people who tell me no.
At the time I may not appreciate hearing the word no; however, in the long run I learn more from hearing no. I learn that I am able to do things by myself and I am able to accomplish something on my own. No is a powerful word, so strong that I have difficulties saying the word "no." People mistaken my fear of saying no with niceness. I tend to say yes all the time when people need me because I generally want to help people but there are a lot of times I want to say no but honestly I do not have enough courage to say no because I strongly dislike letting people down. I've learned saying no has made me stronger and enabled me to achieve more than I could have ever imagined.
