Day Forty-Five; Down the line

Day Forty-Five; by Alyssa Gonzales
I am thankful for my coaches.

I learn best when I am told what I am doing wrong. I strive for feedback and feed on critiques. I've worked with nearly a dozen coaches and instructors who have taught me so much about my form, agility, and capabilities. Each coach also believed in myself, which I lacked the ability to do so sometimes. When I had no hope, they did which means a lot to me. My first instructor stood outside in the burning weather helping me practice, my second coach prepared me for the season, and my third coach supported me at my match. I've also had other instructors who went out of their way to give me lessons closer to home and worked with me four times a week. Coming back from camp I don't think I can ever hear any new critiques since I've heard pretty much everything I can be told. Keep your head up, follow through, extend your arm, use your legs. This week was a great experience for me and I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with so many great instructors that come from all around the world.
