So I was watching television today and I am really bothered by the insensitivity of humanity that the media is portraying about Hurricane Sandy. While the media is already making jokes about the disaster of the hurricane, people remain in shelters, homes are still destroyed, and people still have no electricity in their homes. I admit, I was unaware at first of how badly Sandy affected people because where I live, people lost electricity, trees fell down, and that was pretty much it. It was bad, but not as severe as other towns and states. While I am sitting in my home that is still standing, my prayers are out there to all who have been affected, especially those who have lost someone close to them and those who are injured.
