Question 27 of 365; Why do people like routines?

Is it because of the comfort of being able to predict and plan out the future? Is it the security of knowing the possibilities that tomorrow holds? Do all lives become a routine?

The last thing I wish to have in my life is to wake up tomorrow morning feeling like it was yesterday but really it is today. Is my life a routine? I wake up at 5:45, leave my house at 6:59, get my coffee at 7:02, get to school at 7:10, start first period at 8:20 and my day at school continues until 2:00. I get home around 2:30ish and that is pretty much my routine that I can count on happening every weekday. As far as after 2:30 I have no idea what I will be doing. As for today, I am writing a blog post at 3:14. Do I want a routine? Not really. Should I have one? Maybe? I fancy the unexpected because I like the surprise. We don't face many surprises every day and its good to be swept away by the unexpected. I like the unexpected because when it comes knocking on my door, I get excited by all of the possibilities that can occur and not knowing what can happen.
