chasing the moon;

I spent an hour driving around looking for the moon. On my way home, a little before 9 p.m. I look up at my rear view mirror and I am staring at this magnificent view! All I can see is this beautiful cresent moon and I was just dying to capture it's pure beauty.I had my camera and tripod in the trunk BUT I did not have my zoom lens on me. So I drive home, which took me 8 minutes and I grab my lens and head back out. I neglect the fact that I am probably going to get in trouble for being out late but I just needed that picture. I'm driving and driving and somehow end up in city and I decide to look by the river. I'm at the river and still cannot find this moon! I look across the water and admire the view from my car. I parked and took a couple of pictures by the bridge which I will post later. Story ending short, I did not find the moon! I am not sitting in my bedroom with the curtains open hoping maybe a light will shine through my window.

Oh, by the way, I did get a chance to go shooting yesterday. I cannot even begin to explain how much I needed yesterday. I did not care about the tornado warning or the storm that was about to kick I just went out and took a couple of pictures. Monday night I promised myself that I would give myself time to just relax and shoot because I was killing myself with the anticipation of needing to take a photo. Thanks to Clifford who told me about this place and was on the phone with me trying to find this place.

Possible new project? To the places I've wondered, adventures I took, and where life takes me next
