Day Seventy-Four; What is a mother

Day Seventy-Four; What is a mother by Alyssa Gonzales
I am thankful for my mother's guidance.

I fight with my mother more than anyone else I know; however, no matter how much we argue, I know she has my best interest at heart. Regardless of the conversation or topic we are always on opposite sides. It’s crazy to see how different my mother and I are; yet, we distinguish many similar traits. People say I look just like my mother and I believe I have my mother’s brain. In my eyes, she is very intelligent, strong, successful woman. When my father got in a car accident, she was the one who held it together for my family and today she is the one who holds the family income. She works; she cleans, cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As much as we disagree with one another, it is hard not to love her. She yells at me, tells me what to do, and whether I acknowledge it or not, she has helping me become the person I am today.
